Education, Resources And Awareness

When it comes to sport integrity, it is critical that our athletes and support personnel are aware of their rights and responsibilities. There are a range of tools and resources available to help keep participants informed.

Integrity Elearning

Sport Integrity Australia eLearning offers a number of online courses relating to sport integrity, including doping, match fixing, illicit drugs and ethical decision-making courses. Specific anti-doping courses are also available for coaches, support persons, medical practitioners and parents.

Athletes required to complete education can submit their ‘eLearning certificate’ to education@squashaus.com.au.

2024 Squash Australia Education Plan

Education is key to protecting the integrity of Australian sport. Sport Integrity Australia (SIA) and Squash Australia are committed to working together to mitigate and manage integrity threats to provide a safe and fair environment for participants at all levels of sport.

This Education Plan has been developed in partnership with SIA, who will support this plan through the provision of education resources and interventions as and where possible. It outlines the required and recommended education interventions for all members of Squash Australia to facilitate compliance with the National Integrity Framework policies, Squash Australia Anti-Doping Policy and the World Anti-Doping Code International Standard for Education (ISE).

The Education Plan documents the key online education course requirements that the relevant stakeholder groups should complete with any formal engagement with Squash Australia activities and events. This is in addition to completing any recruitment and screening of personnel as per the Safeguarding Children and Young People Policy prior to engagement.

Sport Integrity Australia online education courses can be found through the online education portal - personnel will need to create a username and password each time that you wish to complete a course. Once you have completed a course, you can download your certificate of completion and forward this to your relevant manager or organisation.

Online courses should be completed within three months from your commencement date unless it is stipulated you are required to complete courses prior to your commencement.

If you wish to run any in-person education, please contact the Squash Australia National Integrity Manager at integrity@squashaus.com.au.

If you have any technical issues when you are completing your courses, please contact the Sport Integrity Australia Education Team via email to education@sportintegrity.gov.au.

PLEASE NOTE: With legislation, policy change updates and compliance changes, requirements for course completion are subject to changes at Squash Australia's discretion.

A good way for younger athletes to complete their online learning requirements is to sit down with their parents/guardians or carers and chat through the content together. This is a great learning experience for parents/guardians and carers to also understand the environment in which their athletes are training and competing. All online courses are suitable for children and young people (those under 18 years of age).

The Sport Integrity app is a one-stop-shop for all sport integrity needs, designed with athletes in mind.

The app allows users to check whether their medications are banned in sport, find low-risk supplements to reduce their change of testing positive accidentally, and check whether they need a Therapeutic Use Exemption. The app is also a tool to raise concerns about things like doping, match-fixing, harassment or illicit drug use. It also features further information on eLearning modules, whereabouts and testing information and gives users the opportunity to provide feedback to Sport Integrity Australia.

The app is free and can be downloaded from the Apple and Android app stores.
