The Australian Open is the pinnacle event for squash on the Australian events calendar and has a rich history dating back to 1928. The prestigious event is on the Professional Squash Association (PSA) World Tour and attracts the best domestic players and an international contingent all vying for the crown of Australian Open Champion.

The 2024 City Tattersalls Group Australian Open contains the Men's and Women's PSA World Tour Bronze events and the John Ireland Graded event including Men's and Women's Premier, A, B, C, D, E and junior graded events.

TOURNAMENT DATES:
Graded Entries Close: 10 March 2024
PSA Open Draws: 20 - 24 March 2024
Graded Draws: 22 - 24 March 2024

TOURNAMENT LOCATION:
This event will be played over different venues in Sydney.
* Sydney University Sport & Fitness Centre
* Castlereagh Club
* Tattersalls Club on Hyde Park
* Bondi Squash Club


TOURNAMENT INFORMATION:
* Men's and Women's Open will be registered as WSF & PSA World Tour Bronze Event and eligible for PSA ranking points.
* Graded Men's and Women's Events include Premier, A, B, C, D and E
* Junior Events available and ability based on SquashLevel ratings.
* Graded events will be seeded based on SquashLevels ratings, please enquire if unsure on grade.
* Guaranteed three matches in all Graded Events.
* Scoring: PAR 11, Best of 5 games.
* Official Ball: Dunlop Pro
* All players under the age of 19 must wear Squash Australia approved eye-wear.
* Squash Australia reserves the right to combine events and move entrants between events where deemed necessary.
