MySquashAUS - Your questions answered

Published Thu 22 Jun 2023

Members of Squash clubs around the country have been receiving information recently about our new Membership Model and our new Membership platform, MySquashAUS.

We understand that at a time of change like this there can be some confusion about why we are making a change, and what it means for you, so we’ve collated a number of the common questions we’ve received in recent weeks in the hope of providing you with some clarity.

If you do have any more queries, please drop us a line at support@squashaus.com.au.

I have a SportyHQ account. Do I need a MySquashAUS account?
Yes - all players will need to transition to the MySquashAUS platform. Helpfully, all the data from SportyHQ has been brought across to the new platform, so all you need to do is enter a few key details and you will be matched with your SqA ID number.

Why do I need a SportyHQ account and a MySquashAUS account?
Change takes time, and we know some players and clubs will be quicker to transition to the new system than others. SportyHQ is not being closed off straight away, but there will be a point in time in the coming months when it will be switched off and all admin will occur via MySquashAUS.

In the meantime, if you have both accounts, you will be able to enter any competition no matter whether it is being run on the old or new platform.

What happens with the fees I normally pay through SportyHQ?
This will now change to the new platform, and it is a change for the better.

Squash is moving to individual participant registration and online payment in line with the way other major sports in Australia operate.

Everyone involved in our game will pay a State and National Membership Fee which covers administrative and service costs along with your annual insurance fees.

Club membership and competition fees will continue to be collected directly by your club.

Does MySquashAUS affect my SquashLevels profile?
SquashLevels will be integrated with the new system via your SqA ID.

What is my membership number or username?
On registering you will be sent a Membership Details email which includes your Membership Number, a link to download your payment receipt, and your login details with a link to set your password.

If you do not receive this email, please check your Junk/Spam folder first.  If you cannot find the email please send an email to support@squashaus.com.au and we will look into this for you.

My Club is missing from the drop down menu on the registration page
Currently the registration is only to activate your profile and assign it to a State Association.

From Monday 3 July, if your club is set up in MySquashAUS, you will be able to go to your club’s registration page and registration, renew or pay your membership fee.

Where can I find more information on the new membership model?
All the information you need can be found in the eBook below.
