From players to clubs, states to national level, everyone involved in the Squash community will now start moving onto a new, streamlined platform which brings together everything from player registration to competition management and club administration.
Squash Australia is joining forces with revolutioniseSPORT, making the sport easier to manage for everyone - from individual members right up to overall management of the biggest squash centres in the country.
revolutioniseSPORT is Australian-made and owned and is already used by more than 265 state and national sporting organisations in the region, and more than 17,000 clubs.
While the system will primarily reduce the administrative burden on club administrators and volunteers, it will also provide an added level of detail and accuracy for players.
Through revolutioniseSPORT’s integration with SquashLevels - the official World Squash ratings system - player data will be centralised, providing performance overviews, global rankings and complete match histories.
“This is a really important time for Squash in Australia, and it’s important we continue to develop the sport both on and off the court,” said Robert Donaghue, Squash Australia CEO. “We can’t let the administrative side of the game be a deterrent for players or clubs, so it is important we provide tools which not only make it easier for the sport to function and thrive, but also provide a level of service which is of a high standard.
“Moving onto the revolutioniseSPORT platform is a natural step forward and one which many other sports have already benefitted from.
“Squash in Australia is changing, and it’s changing for the better. I encourage everyone in the squash community to create your profile today and experience the benefits as all involved in our great sport come on board over the coming weeks and months.”
Importantly for players and clubs alike, there will be no loss of information while Squash Australia’s systems migrate from SportyHQ to revolutioniseSPORT. Any tournaments already in progress when the migration commences will continue on the SportyHQ platform through to their completion, with new competitions then moving over to revolutioniseSPORT progressively and through the middle of the year.
Clubs and centres have been set up with revolutioniseSPORT accounts to provide fully-integrated membership, competition and club management systems, new websites and many other features.
Now it’s time for players to get on board.
It’s now time to create your Squash Australia member profile.
Simply go to https://www.squashaus.com.au/registration to create your profile.
If you are a club administrator and already have a Squash Australia member profile, you do not need to do this step as you will already exist within the national database.
And if you haven’t already, sign up now to SquashLevels to take advantage of the most comprehensive global rankings system ever developed for the sport.
