Australia’s Joseph White is preparing to fly the flag for the green and gold at the CIB PSA World Championships 2025/26 in Giza, Egypt this weekend.

White secured his place at squash’s premier event after winning the 2026 Oceania World Championship Qualifying Event at Kooyong earlier this year, booking the region’s sole men’s qualification spot.

The tournament appearance marks White’s second career PSA World Championships campaign, with the Australian set to take on some of the world’s best players on the sport’s biggest stage.

White faces a blockbuster opening-round clash against former World Champion and former world No.1 Mohamed ElShorbagy, with the match scheduled for 4:45pm local time on Saturday 9 May (11:45pm AEST).

The CIB PSA World Championships officially get underway at Palm Hills Club in Giza, with matches played across five courts, including the tournament’s iconic glass court.

Featuring the world’s leading squash players, the World Championships remain one of the sport’s most prestigious events, with White proudly representing both Australia and Oceania in Egypt.
