DAY 7 - SUNDAY 15 DECEMBER

Australia kept up it’s renewed late-tournament form on the final day of competition, taking 23rd place after Joe White and Brendan MacDonald scored victories in under half an hour to defeat Philippines.

DAY 6 - SATURDAY 14 DECEMBER

Australia has finished the Women's World Team Championship in 11th place.
 
A 2-1 victory over Scotland was a fantastic way to finish the tournamen, the victory coming in no small part via a fantastic performance by Madison Lyon in her 3-1 victory over Robyn McAlpine.

DAY 5 - FRIDAY 13 DECEMBER

Split results for Australia on day 5 of the World Team Championships with the men scoring a clean sweep and our women narrowly going down.
 
The women's team now take on Scotland in the 11th place playoff while the men move on to play Philippines.

Joe White scored Australia's only victory on day four of the WSF World Team Championships in Hong Kong but it was not enough to overcome Ireland.

They return on Friday to take on China while our women are back from a day off, hoping to play their way into the 9th place playoff.

DAY 3 - WEDNESDAY 11 DECEMBER

Australia has fallen in both of their day three matches at the World Team Championships.

Sarah Cardwell collected her third win of the tournament but it wasn't enough to overcome India who claimed the tie 2-1.

Our women's team have a rest day on Thursday before playing a 9th-12th semi-final against Japan

Australia's men's team also suffered a loss on day three, going down to a motivated Peru team led by former World #1 Diego Elias.

Rhys Dowling collected Australia's only victory of the tie and they now face Ireland on Thursday evening.

DAY 2 - TUESDAY 10 DECEMBER

It was a near-perfect day on day two of the World Team Championships, with Australia's women dropping just one game in a whitewash of Finland.

Jess van der Walt and Alex Haydon collected their first wins of the tournament while Sarah Cardwell made it two victories in as many days.

The win saw Australia finish second in Group F and progress to the 1st to 12th playoffs.

DAY 1 - MONDAY 9 DECEMBER

Australia's opening clash of the competition saw the Women's team triumph over South Africa 2-1.

After Jess van der Walt went down in the opening match, Sarah Cardwell levelled the tie before Madison Lyon scored an impressive victory to get Australia over the line on debut.

In the men’s first-up clash against South Africa, Joe White went down in the opener before Rhys Dowling squared the edger in a match that went the distance. In the decider, Dylan Molinaro went down early but came back to lead 2-1, but couldn’t; outlast his opponent in five games.

Australia was always going to do it tough against the host team on day one and Hong Kong were too strong, winning all three matches. World No.23 Tomato Ho was too strong for Jess van der Walt, while Sarah Cardwell and Madison Lyon both went down in four games.

Following the disappointment of their opening loss to South Africa, Australia’s men’s team were unable to overcome a strong Swiss team led by World #23 Nicolas Mueller. In the third match of the tie, Brendan MacDonald was handed his senior national team debut.
