Van der Walt will look to continue her form from the 2025 London Open which saw her advance to the Semi-Finals a fortnight ago. She will pair up with Lyon, who was named female 2025 Australian Squash Tour Champion after an outstanding campaign on the national circuit.
12 teams from around the world have been divided into four pools. Australia has landed in Pool C and will face off against Malaysia and debutants Poland.
The 2025 SDAT Squash World Cup returns to Chennai where the tournament introduced several format updates, including games played to seven points and sudden-death deciders at 6-6. These additions created a faster, more dynamic style of play.
