Masters squash players have six months to register for the 2026 World Squash Masters Championships, hosted in Perth, Australia, with the deadline set to close on Sunday 19th July.
The championship will take place from 30 August to 6 September, with hundreds of squash players aged 35+ expected to compete for the title of world champion.
In 2024, the competition took place in Amsterdam, Netherlands and saw a new record for participation being set, with over 1,200 competitors registering for the event.
The 2026 World Squash Masters Championships will be the sixth time Australia have hosted the World Masters, previously hosting the men’s event in 1979, women’s events in 1982 and 1990, and combined events in 1995 and 2001.
This year’s event will see competitors play on the 14 courts of Mirrabooka Squash Centre and the eight courts of Bellmont Squash Centre.
Athletes who enter the World Squash Masters Championships will also have the opportunity to compete on the stunning all-glass show court at Western Australia’s largest shopping centre, Karrinyup Shopping Centre.
The unique location, which receives more than more than 13.4 million visitors annually, will provide a one-of-a-kind sporting showcase and will offer a platform for global squash athletes to compete in full public view.
The “centre takeover” planned during the event will transform the retail precinct into a vibrant sporting arena, offering both world class high-performance squash action and community engagement on full display in one of Perth’s most iconic venues.
Athletes looking to register for the 2026 World Masters Squash Championships must register before Sunday 19th July and must have a World Squash Squash Personal Identification Number (SPIN).
