Romero and Idrakie claim 2025 Victorian Open titles

Maylasia's Addeen Idrakie and Noa Romero of Spain have clinched the 2025 Victorian Open titles at Mulgrave Country Club over the weekend.
 
Both finals kept the crowd excited throughout the final day, with a large contingent of members and patrons in attendence.
 
Addeen Idrakie proving too strong in the final to covercome countryman Nathan Kueh 3-1 (11-2 11-4 8-11 11-3) 
 
The Women's final was a tighter affair as Romero overcame a late fight back from Hong Kong's Leung Ka Huen. The latter taking the match to a deciding game after finding herself down 2-0. Though it wasn't enough, with Romero finishing strong to win the title 3-2 (11-7 11-5 8-11 6-11 11-4) in Wheelers Hill, Victoria on Sunday afternoon.
