Australia’s top squash talent is primed and ready, with the journey to the 2026 PSA World Championships in Giza, Egypt officially beginning on home soil this week.

The prestigious courts of Kooyong Squash Club will once again host the Oceania World Championship Qualification Event, presented by Kooyonga Creek, from 26-29 March.

The tournament will showcase the highest level of squash in the region, with qualification for the sport’s biggest stage on the line.

Every rally will carry weight as players battle for a coveted place at the PSA World Championships, set to take place in Giza from 8-16 May 2026. Only the winners of the men’s and women’s draws will secure qualification, raising the stakes across four days of elite competition.

Australia’s charge will be led by its top-seeded contenders, Joseph White and Jessica van der Walt both aiming to convert home-court advantage into a ticket to Egypt. Fellow 2026 Squash Australian Open wildcards, Dylan Molinaro and Madison Lyon, both line up as #3 seeds for the tournament.

From emerging prospects to experienced campaigners, Oceania’s finest athletes will bring intensity, precision, and passion to Kooyong. With the region’s best assembled, fans can expect fierce matchups and world-class performances throughout the tournament.

The 2026 Oceania World Championship Qualifier event is proudly supported through the Commonwealth Games Australia Green2Gold2Great investment program, which helps Australian athletes and events on the pathway to international success.
