NSW take the lead on Day 2 of the 2025 AJC Teams Event

The second day of the 2025 AJC Team Championships has come to a close at Ballarat Squash & Racquetball Fitness Centre on Friday evening with NSW leading both divisions.

NSW’s path to the top of the Division 1 ladder started with a 15-1 win over South Australia in the morning session. They would go on to solidify their spot at the top after defeating Western Australia 14-2 later in the day.

Queensland who sit in second place began the day taking down Western Australia 11-5. Before toppling home state Victoria in the later session 10-6.

Division 1 Standings

For a second consecutive day, NSW lead the competition in Division 2. They enjoyed a healthy start to the morning with a 7-1 victory over ACT. Before continuing their momentum into the afternoon defeating Western Australia 7-1.

Second place Queensland dominated from the get-go keeping a clean sheet against Tasmania 8-0 this morning. They kept themselves in the hunt for the Division 2 title with a strong 7-1 win against Victoria.

Earlier in the day host state Victoria, navigated their way to a win over Western Australia, with only game points setting them apart 4-14-222 - 4-12-181.
