Kross and Cheung Set Up All-Aussie Battle at World Juniors

Our Aussies continued to make their mark on the world stage in Ontario, Canada at the 2026 World Squash Junior Championships.

Henry Kross and Kasper Cheung were the standout performers of the day, both backing up for two matches and picking up comfortable wins in each to set up an all-Australian clash against one another tomorrow.

In the top 32 section of the individual event, Sarbani Maitra and Joanne Joseph were both tested in tough encounters as they continue their push through the draw.

Ethan Middleton has withdrawn from the remainder of the individual event after managing a knee injury, with his focus now turning to being fit and ready for next week's teams competition.

The team will continue to play out matches in the individual tournament to determine their final placings ahead of the teams event next week.
