Joseph Leads Aussies Home as Individuals Wrap Up, Teams Event Begins

The individual event at the 2026 World Squash Junior Championships has drawn to a close in Ontario, Canada, with our Aussies now turning their full attention to the teams competition.
Joanne Joseph finished as the highest-placed Australian, closing out her individual campaign in 26th after splitting her final day with a win and a loss. Tina Ma capped off a strong week with back-to-back wins on the final day to secure a top 50 finish.
Attention now shifts to the teams event, with both the Girls and Boys squads back in action on Sunday 26 July.
The girls have been drawn in Pool B alongside Hong Kong China, New Zealand and Ireland, and will kick off their campaign against New Zealand today. The top two teams in each pool advance through to the quarter-finals.
The boys have been drawn in Pool D with France and Mexico, and will open their campaign against France today. The top two in the pool progress to the Round of 16 knockout stage.
