Australia’s team events delivered encouraging results, with our women defeating New Zealand in their final round robin fixture to book a spot in the Quarter Finals. Although they fell to Hong Kong China, their strong performance ensured a top 8 finish in the team event.

Our Men's team were pitted in a tough draw which included hosts Egypt and Canada. Shifting into the 13-22 play off bracket of the team event, our men found their groove with a positive 2-1 win over South Africa. They will continue their campaign on the final day against Brazil with the goal to finish in the top-15.

With several juniors set to transition to senior competitions,  Australia’s 2025 campaign in Cairo has laid a strong foundation for future success. The experience gained against the world’s best will be invaluable as these young stars aim to make their mark on the global stage in the lead up to the recently announced 2027 Commonwealth Junior Games to be held in Malta.
