2025 Australian Junior Championships Preview

The 2025 Australian Junior Championships will kick off tomorrow on Sunday, September 28 - Saturday October, 4 at Ballarat Squash & Racquetball Fitness Centre.

The tournament will commence with the individual competition taking place across the opening first four days in Ballarat. Before the majority of the top individual competitors continue on to represent their states in the Teams Event for the final three days of action.

A host of Australian representatives who represented the nation at the recent 2025 WSF World Squash Junior Championships held in Cairo, Egypt will headline the event.  With Jackson Wylie, Marcus Wang,  Haider Naqvi and Joshua Raj notable particpants who will battle it out in the Boys U19s Competition.

Sarbani Maitra, the 2024 Australian Junior Championships U19s Girls Champion, is back to defend her crown going up against a competitive field featuring Hannah Slyth, Lucy Keogh and Poulava sisters, Jade and Eden-Alma. 

Kasper Cheung will line up in the Boys U17 competition to defend his title in Ballarat. While Tina Ma and Eden-Alma Poulava, the Top 2 seeds in the Girls U17s Draw will be ones to keep an eye out for through the tournament.

The 2025 Australian Junior Championships will kick off on Sunday, September 28 with the first match

Play begins at 9:30AM AEST on Sunday with two courts streamed live each day via SquashAUS.TV .
