Key Information 

The World Squash Coaching Bridging Course is designed for squash coaches whose previous coaching certification has lapsed, but who are seeking to recertify and return to active accreditation in Australia. 

This Bridging Course is specifically for coaches who meet the following conditions: 

  • You must have previously held a Squash Coaching Certification awarded prior to 2021.
  • You must have been actively coaching for a set minimum number of years since your original certification:
    • Level 1: Minimum 4 years of coaching experience
    • Level 2: Minimum 6 years of  coaching experience
    • Level 3: Minimum 10 years of coaching experience

Application 

  • Applications are assessed case-by-case to ensure eligibility and experience requirements are met.
  • Applicants are eligible to bridge only to the equivalent coaching level as their previous accreditation.
  • Applicants must hold an active paid membership with Squash Australia.
  • Applicants must add supporting documentation of their previous coaching history, which includes:
    • Certificates of Previous Coaching Certifications (MANDATORY)
    • Coaching Resume or Logbook (MANDATORY)
    • A Letter of Recommendation from one of the following (MANDATORY)
      • The State/Territory Organisation’s General Manager or CEO 
      • The State/Territory Head Coach 
      • A current Squash Australia Coach Tutor 
      • A currently certified Squash Australia coach holding at least the same level of certification as the applicant is seeking to bridge into 
      • The highest-level athlete they are currently coaching or have coached in the past. 
    • Other Relevant Qualifications or Documentation 
  • Please note that each applicant is entitled to one review of their application if the initial submission is deemed unsuccessful. Should the application remain unsuccessful, no further review opportunities will be provided.

Cost

  • Application fee: $35 (non-refundable)
  • Level 1 Bridging Course fee once approved: $100
  • Level 2 Bridging Course fee once approved: $185
  • Level 3 Bridging Course fee once approved:$270
