Squash Media & Marketing (SMM) is pleased to announce that Squash Australia has been appointed to represent Access Courts sales in Australia, with the agreement set to provide a major boost to the sport's grassroots participation.
The agreement comes at an exciting time for the sport and Australia, with squash set to make its Olympic debut at the Olympic Games Los Angeles 2028 (LA28) and Brisbane, Australia to host the subsequent edition of the Games in 2032.
Access Courts has developed a new generation of modular squash courts designed to remove traditional barriers of cost and infrastructure. Engineered for flexibility, speed of installation, and affordability, these courts can be placed in virtually any location – from urban parks and public spaces to schools, universities, private homes, hotels, resorts, gyms, and multi-sport facilities.
By opening up new markets for squash, Access Courts provides a scalable solution that can both expand grassroots participation and deliver exceptional playing experiences in non-traditional venues.
The agreement with Squash Australia, the national governing body for squash in Australia, forms part of SMM’s wider strategy to build a global network of sales agents, ensuring that Access Courts can be introduced and supported in as many regions as possible. By working with trusted local organisations, SMM, the exclusive global sales agent for Access Courts outside of the United States, is creating a structure that makes it easier for communities everywhere to explore new court projects.
For Australia, this means that clubs, schools, communities, and public spaces will now have direct access to Access Courts’ innovative indoor and outdoor squash courts through their own national governing body. Access Courts have been designed to break down traditional barriers to facility development — offering a more affordable, flexible, and accessible solution.
With Squash Australia leading sales locally, Australians will benefit from a locally supported, globally connected sales process, helping to grow the game and expand opportunities for play at every level.
Squash Australia CEO, Robert Donaghue said, "We are excited to be partnering with SMM & Access Courts to bring these innovative, modular squash courts to Australia. Like most sports, developing and maintaining facilities is a challenge, and with Access Courts, we now have an opportunity to work with our existing court owners, local & state governments and other like-minded sports, to incorporate squash into new and existing facilities, and to explore outdoor opportunities that hasn't be possible until now."
"This partnership aligns perfectly with our strategic plan that aims to achieve new places to play, more places to play & modern places to play."
